Jonathan Hanegan grew up in Denver, Colorado before studying Missions and Spanish at Oklahoma Christian University. After working two years at the Capitol Hill Church of Christ as the Spanish language minister from 2004 to 2006, Jonathan moved to Caracas, Venezuela where he served in East Caracas from 2006 to 2011. From 2011 to the present time, Jonathan serves as a professor of theology and missions at the Argentine Bible Institute and on a mission team that began the work of the Redeemer Church of Christ in Palermo, Buenos Aires. In addition to mission work and teaching responsibilities, Jonathan is doing a masters in Global Service at Abilene Christian University that he should complete in 2016. Jonathan is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He has served in the following countries in Latin America: Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
